Volunteer Spotlight

Bob CheckleyBob Checkley has been volunteering with St. Louis Public Radio for over six years. He answers phones during pledge drives, works theSt. Louis Public Radio booth at community events (here he's pictured at Belleville's Art on the Square), and he even does a little office work at the station.

He likes volunteering at St. Louis Public Radio because he likes the people he gets to associate with. "The volunteers are all interesting people," he says. He likes that there are volunteers from all walks of life who share their stories. When he volunteers to work the St. Louis Public Radio booth, he meets lots of interesting St. Louis Public Radio fans who share his love for St. Louis Public Radio's programs.
