Work with and get to know other KWMU listeners by becoming a KWMU volunteer. KWMU is always in need of people to help around the office, at outreach events, and especially during our on-air membership fund drives.

Volunteer Spotlight
Bob Checkley has been volunteering with KWMU for over four years. He answers phones during pledge drives, works the KWMU booth at community events (here he's pictured at Belleville's Art on the Square), and he even does a little office work at the station.
He likes volunteering at KWMU because he likes the people he gets to associate with. "The volunteers are all interesting people," he says. He likes that there are volunteers from all walks of life who share their stories while waiting to take phone calls during the pledge drives. And when he volunteers to work the KWMU booth, he meets lots of interesting KWMU fans who share his love for KWMU's programs.
